GET INVOLVED!

When facing difficult decisions or making life-altering changes, it helps youth to know they are not alone. When you become part of AYS' support network for youth, you help them learn to make good choices and realize their potential. And you let them know that they are not alone.

BECOME A DONOR!
Join hundreds of other committed community members who support AYS' essential programs for at-risk youth. Your contribution is vital to AYS' success with fragile youth. If you would like more information about tax deductible giving options or how to remember AYS in your will, contact Teri Kriege, Vice President of Development, at tkriege@aysusa.org or 913.831.2820, x231. BECOME A VOLUNTEER!
AYS is expanding our volunteer program and looking for energetic volunteers of all ages and skill-types who want to connect with young people in a meaningful way. Below is just a sample of the many ways you can change young people's lives. If you have any questions, would like to become a volunteer, or have an idea about other ways you might help AYS' youth, please contact Lauren Johnson at ljohnson@aysusa.org or 913.831.2820 x218.

Special Two Day Volunteer Event (Or You Can Choose One Day!)
          Saturday, August 23rd and/or Sunday, August 24th
          KC Aeronautical Exposition and Airshow

Needed:  Willingness to Have Fun While Serving AYS!

Help AYS staff our concession stands at the airshow on August 23rd and/or 24th.  To apply, you must be able to serve --- with fortitude --- refreshments from 8 am to 5 pm on either (or both) of these days.  The proceeds will benefit AYS youth.  Of course, you will get free admission to the airshow, plenty of rest breaks and snacks.

  • Give us a day.
  • Feel the heart-pounding excitment on the tarmac.
  • Donate your time and sweat-equity (it's ususally hot!) to a great cause.

Please contact Lauren Johnson at 913-831-2820 Ext. 218 or ljohnson@aysusa.org for more information.
